Great atmosphere and color scheme. The rotation gives an interesting dynamics to the city. TOKYO 2369 by *ERA-7 ( Featured by Shue13 )

It's a really great image and I love to see more future Tokyo images or a series similar to this. I feel though, this image would have been served better if it wasn't supposed to represent Tokyo.

My only complaints are that there is no river near the Tokyo Metropolitan building in real life and Tokyo Skytree is no where near that tall or anywhere near Shinjuku (which is where the met building is based - they are 11 miles apart). So in reality, it's a general future city image with a couple of landmarks thrown in to make it seem like Tokyo with no real real reference in place to really make it feel real and because of that reason it's difficult to conceptualize or imagine it as an actual living breathing city.

It would have been better if you focused on a specific area using real world references such as locations of rivers, main roads and landmarks etc and judge on how that could have been developed in future. Those buildings in real life would be absolutely astronomical in size. The met building itself is quite tall in real life, but the skycrapers you have completely overwhelm it and they would be probably touching the clouds or more. Most buildings in Tokyo are built to withstand earthquakes, especially modern skyscrapers. As much as I'd love to see buildings like this in Tokyo, unless we develop some meticulous engineering and make enhancements in architecture or building materials in future etc, I doubt we'd see buildings this huge in downtown Tokyo.

Other than that, artistically and visually it's great work.

Thank you so much for your critique! I'm agree with your words and will use your advises. I know that this concept doesn't correspond to reality but my customer wanted to see the town only in this version. It was done for his book. I used his descriptions for picture. So the idea of it belongs to him. You can check his page link to read more information about book and Tokyo 2369.
